Apple announces iPhone 17 launch date

Apple has officially revealed the date of its highly anticipated "Awe Dropping" event, where the new iPhone 17 Air and iPhone 17 Pro Max will finally be introduced.

The company confirmed that the iPhone 17 launch event will take place on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the iconic Apple Park campus, starting at 8:00 PM Baku time.

iPhone 17 series set for September 9

At this year’s September keynote, Apple will unveil the brand-new iPhone 17 series, including the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air.

The iPhone 17 Pro models are expected to feature a stronger aluminum frame, a redesigned rear camera module, and enhanced durability. Every iPhone 17 will be powered by the A19 and A19 Pro chips, with ProMotion now standard across the lineup.

The standout of the series, iPhone 17 Air, will be Apple’s thinnest and lightest iPhone ever, offering a 6.6-inch display, the company’s C1 modem, and a single-lens rear camera. This year, there will be no iPhone 17 Plus.

Apple Watch, AirPods and more

In addition to iPhones, Apple will also introduce the Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Apple Watch SE 3. For the first time in three years, the entire Apple Watch lineup will be refreshed simultaneously.

Other surprises may include the AirPods Pro 3, a new HomePod mini, and an upgraded Apple TV 4K.

Apple is also expected to roll out iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe, and more software updates during the event.
