Tecno Spark 40 Series Unveiled — Pro+ Launches with Helio G200

Tecno has officially launched its Spark 40 series, featuring three models: Spark 40, Spark 40 Pro, and Spark 40 Pro+. The Pro versions offer higher resolution displays, faster chipsets, and IP64 water and dust resistance.

Spark 40 Pro+ — First Phone with Helio G200

Spark 40 Pro+ is the first smartphone powered by MediaTek’s Helio G200, coupled with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. It boasts a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display, 1220p+ resolution, and 144Hz refresh rate. Under-display fingerprint reader and 13MP selfie camera are included.

Rear camera setup features a 50MP main lens and an auxiliary sensor. Battery: 5200mAh, 45W wired, 30W wireless, 5W reverse charging. Runs on HiOS 15.1 based on Android 15.

IP64-rated for water/dust resistance. Colors: Nebula Black, Aurora White, Moon Titanium, Tundra Green. Price: ~$214, now on pre-order in Uganda.

Spark 40 Pro — Same Display, Lower Chipset

Same 6.78" AMOLED, 1220p+, 144Hz, but powered by Helio G100. Also comes with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage.

Camera: 50MP rear, 13MP front. Battery: 5200mAh, 45W fast charging, IP64 rated. Colors: Ink Black, Moon Titanium, Lake Blue, Bamboo Green. Price: ~$189, sales start July 7.

6.67" IPS LCD, HD+ resolution, 120Hz, 8MP front, 50MP rear camera. Powered by Helio G81, up to 8GB RAM, 128/256GB storage. Runs HiOS 15.1 (Android 15). Battery: 5200mAh, 45W fast charging.
